Movie Theaters in Esslingen

There are three movie theaters in Esslingen:

• Capitol A Theater with two screens.
• Traumpalast A Theater with seven screens and over 1500 seats.
• Kommunale Kino A theater in the ownership of a film club. They present regulary anglophone films. Details see below.

Anglophone films in the "Kommunale Kino Esslingen"

The "Kommunale Kino Esslingen" presents regulary films in original sound ("O-Ton") or original with German subtitles ("OmU").

The theater has one screen, 99 seats and is operated by a film club. There are daily showings.

Check the programm for anglophone films. You can detect anglophone films by:

• "O-Ton" means original sound. Please check which language is the original sound. There are also French or Italian films.
• "OmU" (Original mit Untertitel) means original with (German) subtitles. Please check what is the original language.
• "OmeU" (Original mit englischen Untertitel) means original with English subtitles
• English title (Very unsure, sometimes German films use English titles)

Please ask when you buy a ticket, sometimes the film rental send wrong copies.
